North Coast Road Racers Inc. is a family orientated Short Course Road Race club.  We are situated on the North Coast of New South Wales.  We currently have members from the Lismore, Grafton & Coffs Harbour areas and as far south as Sydney and north to Brisbane.

We actively support Super Motard racing and whenever possible, will operate a practice meeting for Motard riders in conjunction with our short course events.

We are also hoping to see a following of Junior Road Racers in 2011.

We currently race at Lismore and Grafton Coffs Harbour and Stanthorpe.

We are always looking for, and encourage new members.

WHAT WE RACE

We race ex-road commuter bikes.  eg. CB125, H100, KH100, SL125, GS125 and CBR125.  The full rules and specifications are listed under the Eligibility Rules section of this website.

The classes we have to race in are as follows:

STOCKERS:  These are ADR compliant road bikes with basically the lights removed. This allows for a  cheap entry into the racing scene. 
SUPERLITES:  Superlites are modified ADR complaint bikes with more modifications  eg. porting chambers, cams, carbies, exhaust.  

The 4 strokes in the Superlites are allowed a maximum of 160cc, are allowed rebores and the 2 strokes are allowed a maximum 110cc , are allowed rebores.

MOTORLITES: 85cc 2 stroke & 200cc 4 stroke commuter or non commuter bikes of any age. This is the "boots & all" class of Short Course Racing & not for the faint hearted. See specific regulations

GETTING STARTED

Club membership is $25.  You will need all the safety gear. ie Helmet, Boots, Back Protector, Gloves, Leathers and BIKE. You can obtain a 1 day license on the day, but we recommend that you get a yearly licence as this turns out to be cheaper over the year if you race often.  If you go to www.motorcycling.com.au  This site will be able to tell you what you need to know, to get your licence.  You can also download the questions for your test from this site.
