Pre entry to meetings
it was decided at the Annual General Meeting, that due to the excessive time taken at meetings to process entries, we will be enforcing the closing date for the DISCOUNTED ENTRY FEE. Entry and payment must be recieved the Friday week before the meeting. I.e Entry form and payment, either Cheque, Money Order or EFT.
Name of Account = North Coast Road Racers, BSB 704328 and Account Number 189626. Print out the receipt & bring it with you to the meeting. You can still enter after this but you won't get the $35 discount. Any questions call Ken.
Updated rules that effect us in 2011.
The lasest copy of the MOMS has an update on the rule regarding engine case protectors. This is a rule that we have been dodging for the last year but we are now forced to comply. If it was up to some of the rule makers, we'd be wrapping the bikes in bubble wrap before we raced.
Rule 15.2.3.4 All lateral covers/engine cases containing oil and which could be in contact with the ground during a crash, MUST be protected by a second cover made from composite materials, type carbon or Kevlar. Plates and/or bars from aluminium or steel are also permitted. All these devices must be designed to be resistant against sudden shocks and must be fixed properly and securely. Bonding alone is not a suitable method of mounting. ( This applies to both 2 & 4 strokes. ).
It's not a bad comprimise on last years rule & should be pretty easy to conform to. I can almost hear the breadboards being cut up now.
