About NCRR
North Coast Road Racers (NCRR) is one of Australia’s longest-running short course motorcycle racing clubs, proudly established in 1992. We provide tight, technical and fast-paced tarmac racing for juniors and seniors competing on 50cc to 500cc motorcycles.
Whether you're chasing podiums or just getting started, North Coast Road Racers offers a place to race, develop and belong.
NCRR was the first club in New South Wales to run approved road racing events for children, creating a local pathway for young riders who previously had to travel interstate to compete on tarmac. Short course racing remains a proven development pathway, helping riders progress to higher levels of competition, including state, national and international road racing.
One of the first riders licensed by the club was Luke Mitchell, who went on to win the Metrakit World Mini GP at the MotoGP round at Silverstone in 2010. His success reflects the strong development foundation the club provides - but our events are not just for future champions. We also offer dedicated recreational classes for riders who are new to racing or simply want to enjoy being on the track in a safe, supportive and family-friendly environment. A non-competitive ride class is run at every event, providing the perfect entry point for those looking to get started in the sport.
Our race meetings are known for being competitive, welcoming and community-driven. With a calendar typically running from March to November, NCRR continues to grow, attracting riders of all ages and experience levels while maintaining the grassroots spirit the club was built on.
